The Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency (JoGEDA) was established in 2008 as an entity assigned with the responsibility of identifying, consolidating, packaging and promoting economic development and investment projects for/and on behalf of the Joe Gqabi District. The Development Agency was established by the Joe Gqabi District Municipality and its local municipalities. The Development Agency is, through shareholding by the Joe Gqabi District Municipality, wholly- owned by the Joe Gqabi District Municipality, and acts in the best interests of its ultimate shareholders – the people of the Joe Gqabi District.

Joe Gqabi Economic Development Agency
